System Overview
GwaiiTel receives service through a 125km radio link, running between towers in Old Masset and Mt Hays in Prince Rupert. We then provide service to local Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and anchor tenants.
GwaiiTel's major assets include:
1 fibre optic cable spanning 110km between Daajing Giids and Old Masset, with distribution branches for local communities.
2 Microwave radio links running between Old Masset and Mt. Hays (360 Mbps each) and between Skidegate and Sandspit (70Mbps).
