Connecting Canada: Broadband Network Funding for Rural Communities Across Canada

GwaiiTel's current project, the installation of the fibre optic cable running from Masset to Skidegate, is nearing and end and we are grateful for the contributions from our funders!

Internet Outage

On April 12th, Haida Gwaii residents will experience a planned Internet outage from 12:01 to 1:00am for maintenance/upgrades. Service will resume as usual after 1:00am.

GwaiiTel Board of Directors 2016

At the AGM on March 23rd, GwaiiTel Members appointed 3 Directors to the board. The GwaiiTel Board of Directors includes:

• Judson Brown

Carol and Clyde have served on the board for many years and we are happy to announce that we have a new Director among us for 2016, Judson Brown!

To our former Director Ryan Barber, thank you for your years of service with GwaiiTel Society, for all of your hard work and we wish you the best of luck in all future endeavors!
